Initial enquiry
First of all, contact me to let me know what date you need the cake for, where your celebration is taking place, how many people the cake should feed and any ideas that you have about style (you could bring/send a photo/sketch or just give me some words, a scrap of fabric etc.), design, colours or level of impact. Advance notice
Most celebration cakes need about two weeks notice, but if your cake is to be large and / or elaborate I need at least a month's notice. For a wedding or very grand affair significantly more time is needed (6 months to a year is about usual) so I can book your date. Some decorations need to be made in advance to allow them to dry properly, and sugar flowers take several weeks just because of the amount of work involved, and I do get booked up fairly quickly. A deposit of 30% secures your booking, with the balance being payable 2 weeks before the wedding
Delivery
I deliver in my immediate local area for free and charge a small mileage rate for delivery outside this area - going throughout Shropshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire or further, for larger orders. You are also welcome to come and collect your cake. Most brides opt for me to deliver and set up their cake for them, and I will happily give you a quote for this service.
Price Guide
The following prices are guide prices - when we're talking about your design I will give you an individual quote. These prices give you some idea of what to expect. The measurements given are for the cake on its own - marzipan, icing and decorations will increase the size. All cakes listed are round, other shapes are easily made. All cakes will require a deposit of 30% before an order is booked and confirmed.
